A California-based seafood restaurant that was expanding to Denver had many hurdles in their remodel. This project included existing storefront modifications, existing entrance vestibule modification, hallway and ramp layout coordination, restroom modifications, exit coordination, kitchen remodel, and structural coordination. Two new door openings, raised topping slab to match existing (including ramping), framing for new walls, suspended ceilings and soffits consisting of cold-formed metal studs and joists, larger main entry vestibule entry door, modifications to the existing mezzanine bearing walls, including removal of some walls and new openings in others. Where required, structural steel posts and beams were installed to support mezzanine.
