The food rescue program has been able to move into their new warehouse space, complete with five times the refrigeration capacity, a temperature-controlled sorting room (heat and air conditioning), separation of equipment use and volunteer work, spacious lobby, plenty of restrooms and stalls, and plenty of parking for volunteers. Project notes include: plumbing, electrical, and sprinkler changes, some alterations for offices that involved electrical and HVAC, installation of large commercial refrigerator / freezer, and minor tenant improvement – all in an existing building. Scope included demo and construction with associated MEP work that was interior only (no exterior work).
